From 1st of July 2010 on, Pierre Fleck has been appointed Irisbus Iveco Chief Executive Officer. Pierre Fleck, 44 years old, is graduated from the IEA in Paris (Institut Européen des Affaires).

Nominated within the "Energy-Environment" category, Iveco France has been awarded for its new ranges of diesel-electric hybrid city buses

Irisbus is adding a hybrid series model to its Citelis city bus range, which is a leader in the European market.  

The international press got their first glimpse of the Magelys HDH, the latest addition to the Irisbus Iveco Gran Turismo Irisbus range. With its three axles, a length of 13.80 m and a height of 3.81, it really is the pride of the fleet.

80 Irisbus Iveco buses, 50 coaches and 30 minibuses, are providing services to delegations from the participating countries at the G8, taking place in L'Aquila and involving more than 2,500 people in addition to some 800 journalists from across the globe.

On Tuesday 16 June, Patrick Devedjian, the French Minister responsible for economic recovery, and Pierre Mongin, chairman and managing director of the RATP, went to Annonay in the Ardèche to visit the site of Irisbus Iveco, a supplier of the RATP.

Ten million people with high body mass experience major difficulties in travelling with a fastened seat belt. For this reason, Irisbus Iveco has developed a 30-cm-long seatbelt extender.

Irisbus Iveco is now Number 2 in the local market for public transportation vehicles with a GVW of more than 8.5 tonnes. In the 12-month period ending March 2009, this corresponded to 315 units and a market share of 22%.The next 270 units will be delivered before the end of the year.

On 2nd April during a visit to the Irisbus Iveco plant in Valle Ufita, the regional councillor for transport Ennio Cascetta and Alessando Rizzardi, the sole director of Ente Autonomo Volturno, announced the regional investment of 33 million Euros for the purchase of 120 new buses.

Irisbus Iveco has delivered on the first three Daily Hybrid minibuses to the Milan local public transport company, A.T.M. (Azienda Trasporti Milanesi).

Transportation in Val d’Isère will be entirely car-free, in line with High Environmental Quality standards, thanks to special parking zones on the outskirts of the site and thanks to Irisbus Iveco vehicles.
